Professional Biography
I’ve been in the industry since my placement year at London College of Communication. Since then I’ve been working design jobs in fashion, taking on a mix of formal and freelance work in my spare time.
I began by interning at Feng Chen Wang, where I learned the fundamentals of the industry
—
how it functions, the dominating aesthetics, and the pacing within the it.
Shortly after, I was recruited into Machine-A’s e-commerce team, which at the time operated in partnership with SHOWstudio. Our job was to build the platform into a high fashion powerhouse, where we conducted regular shoots at SHOWstudio while building & maintaining the website.
Fast forward to 2021, Machine-A gets acquired by Tomorrow Ltd, a company
founded to champion and foster entrepreneurial creativity within the global fashion industry. It was there where Machine-A finally had the resources to scale a full-on rebrand and establish itself independently from SHOWstudio. During this period, I led the rebrand of MACHINE-A’s website, forming the foundation of what it is today.
From then on, I became obsessed with e-commerce and I launched my own jewellery brand: PROJECT(S) 016, which gained traction locally. I still had much more to learn about the craft though.
At the end of 2023 I decided to take a break from the industry and go freelance, whilst learning the craft myself and other ones too. I even had a side-gig as a resident DJ for PlayKrown Entertainment, alongside many other talented DJs.
I took on freelance jobs and spent that time building up my skills in every sector possible, working in a casting house, polishing my jewellery-making skills until I launched Core Labs London.
This is now a project that I plan to scale slowly and intentionally, releasing only when it feels necessary.
